Fuddland
Something quite disturbing happened to a containing <div> of this year’s Weblog archive when I began posting in April and the calendar display went onto a second row–IE 6 seems to think that the <div> begins on the second row and ignores the row above.
The page validates and displays correctly in Opera and Firefox [Windows] and Safari [Mac] [all latest versions], so I don’t know what IE 6’s problem is.

Unbelievable. Adding a spurious, completely unstyled container
<div>enclosing all the calendar tables fixed the problem. Now my page is 11 whole bytes larger than it should be!
