The roof at Shanghai’s relatively-new South Railway Station is pretty impressive—apparently it’s the world’s largest transparent circular roof, as well as being the world’s first circular railway station. The latter fact, whatever it really means, makes me imagine the trains curling up like sleeping snakes as they arrive at the platform.
