One of my new teaching duties takes me about an hour out of (苏州), to a technology company that insists I cover my filthy shoes with these fetching plastic socks.

Re #1: Good job too, there’s no way I’m ruining my curly locks by sealing them in non-breathable materials. ;)

Hi David - Had a quick look through your blogs today and I have a friend (called David, too!) who is teaching English to young Chinese students in Hong Kong.
Anyhow - those shoe covers have just given me an inkling of what I might send him for Xmas!
