Fuddland

Am back. I made it through Nánjīng (南京) all the way to Chēngdu (成都) without any problems, and did a whirlwind tour of the city and the north of the province of Sìchuān (四川), which were both excellent although rather cold.

Right now I need to wash off two days of train travel before I start sorting through the 350-plus photos I took over ten or so days [and have my first cup of proper tea since I left Sūzhōu (苏州)]. Then I’ll be asking you all to sit comfortably whilst I begin…
