The middle of April, Easter weekend, and it snowed!

A good couple of hours’ worth of fairly heavy fall, which settled on the trees and rides at the local park, making for a pleasant if surreal walk back from lunch — I’ve never seen a White Easter before.

You Brits are just too spoiled when it comes to weather! That may not be the popular opinion around the world, but it’s true. This winter in London, I’ve seen two snowflakes. Bliss! In the northern latitudes of the US, it can snow into May!

Two snowflakes, in London? What a treat! ;)

I’ve since been reminded that I have had a White Easter before, when I was young, on a narrowboat holiday through the Pennines.
