Fuddland
If you’re a Blogger user and have noticed a sudden drop-off in my daily visits to your site [i.e. down to zero], do not be offended: it is merely because all Blogger-hosted weblogs are blocked from view out here. The same seems to be true of Wordpress-hosted sites [i.e. those at hosted *.wordpress.com, not those powered by Wordpress], but, for some reason, not Typepad-based ones. [Feel free to draw your own conclusions.]
There are ways to get around all this, but it’s a bit of a faff and I’d rather only do it if I feel a pressing need to add a comment to an entry, so I’ll ask a small favour: if you’re not already doing so, and you aren’t completely against the idea, please could you switch your syndication feeds over to provide the full text of your entries? [Blogger provides instructions on doing this, I’m sure Wordpress must do so too.] This means I’ll be able to read everything you say easy-peasy via Bloglines.
If, for whatever reason, you definitely prefer to provide only truncated entries in your feeds, by all means continue to do so, but you’ll have to make the first couple of your sentences interesting enough to entice me over to your site through the back channels.
[This entry will self-destruct in three days.]
Update: Well, this entry was going to self-destruct, but it’s had some lovely comments and even a rare trackback, so I’m just going to leave it here.

I’m glad you are getting settled in China, David! I cannot believe this news about Blogger. I really want to do a posting about this. Grrrrrr.

Re #3: Thanks. :) I’d willingly allow this site to be blocked for the year if they started stocking Jaffa Cakes at the local supermarket. ;)
