Update: Well that seemed to work pretty well. Just a couple of gripes—you can’t add an entry category [that’s understandable though, given the number of different weblogging tools flickr supports], and flickr doesn’t appear to provide tags for inserting the image’s dimensions into the <img /> tag, which I always like to do as it makes the page render nicely in the browser instead of “jumping around” once the image loads.

Also, the default flickr template uses {photo_title} for the alt attribute, whereas it should really use {photo_desc} [provided that the flickr user has correctly filled in the photo description to actually give an idea of what the photo depicts]. But all in all, it worked like a charm.
