Re #1: I think not — as I say, it’s a list of words which appear once in the weblog, and the list itself is not an entry in the weblog. So ner. :P

nice ‘subversion’ of the weighted list idea too, i.e. all entries used just once so no real weighting…

Re #3: Er, yes, that’s what I thought when I decided to implement it. Not that it just looked quite cool. ;)
The sizes are generated randomly [0.3–2em] via PHP, so that every time you visit the page [like anyone’s going to visit it more than once] the list looks different. Once you click on an item to conduct the search, the item gets a strike-through to remind you that you’ve already visited that link.
