Clay badgers? That’s a new one on me. Then again, you not believe what I thought the first time I saw a ‘humped zebra crossing’ sign, either.

It’s one of the few clay badger shops still around. Because of their decline, trade in clay badgers has gone underground.
Examples in good condition change hands for thousands of pounds on the black market.

Re #2: Gosh, I knew I should have picked a few up when I was there. If I sold them on for a good profit, I’d be sett for life. [See what I did there? Badgers? … Sett? … I’ll get my coat…]
