What a sweet thing! In this area we have a prolific number of tree frogs in the summer, about that size & smaller. When it rains they get quite excited and have a tendency to wander the roads in legion. Tough driving to avoid squashing little frogs, but we do our best. (I’m a frog lover myself though, as I have two as pets.)

Re #1: Our frogs, though wild, are skillful dodgers of vehicular threats, having been trained up by regular[ish] lawn-mowing. :)

Hah, how excellent that no frogs were harmed during the making of that entry. I suspect that a large population of frogs in the grass would be even worse than frogs in the streets. Though that little froggie is awfully cute.
