I don’t know if this works for androids, but I always find that listening to either ‘Surfer Rosa’ or ‘Trompe le Monde’ by the Pixies cures depression in no time at all.

Re #3: Not got access to either of those at the moment, but I’ll try and get a hold of them; for my holiday music I’ve packed The Very Best of The Smiths, amongst others, which includes I Know It’s Over — recently voted the best song to listen to when down in the dumps.

Re #4 & #5: It must be a very deep hole, there’s quite an echo there. ;)
